Middle School's project started two months prior to school letting
out for their summer break. Work included an addition to the
existing cafeteria area to include a new exterior patio/eating
area and a new science classroom wing addition. Each addition
was located on separate parts of the campus, requiring proper
pre-planning for demolition, material deliveries and construction
activities for each separate addition.
This
project held tight time lines for completion, with the new cafeteria
addition being complete by the new school year and the new science
wing classrooms to be completed by December (mid term break).
Science classrooms required different mechanical and electrical
systems, along with more complex finish material and trade work,
due primarily to Chemical and biological studies and use. The
highest of quality standards were met. Continued coordination
and communication transpired with the owner, design team, fire
marshal, inspection agencies and subcontractors to make sure
the project met all party's standards
