| This
153,230 sq ft addition and modernization project included renovations
to all classrooms and a new roofing system. Construction occurred
while students and staff occupied the buildings. Several buildings
had the existing tiered floor leveled to match the finish floor
elevation of the hallway. A new theater was added and several
rooms were acoustically treated for better sound absorption.
Old
wooden covered walkways were replaced with new steel canopies
to match roof. The track and D-zones received a new surface
and the turf football field was refurbished. The existing tennis
courts and fencing was replaced and 6 acres at the southeast
corner of the campus was developed into a soccer field and softball
field.
