| This
project remained occupied for three (3) months by the district,
staff, and student body while BNCC installed a complete new roof
system over the existing flat roofs. The balance of the project
occurred during the sixty-five (65) calendar days of summer break,
which included complete asbestos abatement, demolition and rebuilding
of all interior spaces.
The
building was approximately fifty (50) years old and several
existing conditions did not meet contract drawing assumptions.
BNCC, working close with the Owner, design teams, subcontractors,
and inspection agencies, corrected these conditions while performing
BNCC's as-planned work. The project remained on schedule and
the Owner occupied the campus on-time.
