Finn Hill Junior High and the Environmental Adventure School currently occupy an existing multi-building facility located on the same site. The project will include a new single story 120,000 square foot building. The complete building will support the education of 700 students. The building will house 35 distinct teaching stations, including 24 general classrooms, 5 science classrooms and 6 specialized teaching spaces. The building will continue to house a regional production kitchen for the district. The redeveloped site area is approximately 19 acres of a 29-acre school district property. The project will be phased in order to keep all students onsite throughout the construction of the new facility. Storm water infiltration will be developed within planting areas throughout the site.
